Hello Folks. Had my 2000 Jimny for just over a year now.
Couldn't suffer another Winter without one! It's an Auto with over 100k on the clock.Nice set of OZ alloys, but the only other "extras" are the plates welded in the rear tool area/rear seatbelt mounting area!
So far have replaced the front OS hub oil seal and the exhaust from the manifold to the back.Oh had to replace the vacuum pipe from the inlet manifold last week.Found that wee tip on here!Great source of info'.
Hope to fit some Spotlights soon(for the back roads,to avoid the Deer!).
Have fitted a bigger new battery. Any suggestions how to mount the spots?
Cheers.

Hi and welcome. Have you had much snow near you yet? Ive seen Scotland has had a fair bit already. I havent had the Jimny in snow yet but i had a Grand Vitara for the last 2 years and it was great. I could go out and take pictures knowing i wouldnt get stuck!

Thanks for the welcome.I live between Dumfries and Lockerbie.
Took the Jimny across to Kirkcudbright yesterday and up to Kilmarnock today.Plenty of snow between Kelloholm and New Cummnock, but the roads were clear enough.
As many of you will know the Jimny is unstoppable in the snow.Did not get stuck once last winter.Took it out in the very worst and deepest snow that was thrown at us.Arrived at my old Mums one evening to check she was OK."How did you get here?" Just pointed at my wee £1k Jimny and giggled! The low box is superb.Auto helps in the snow too.
