i paid £80-90 for the tube, 2 small desposable gas bottles at £15 each. say 10 cutting blades at £1 each
i paid £120 for the pipe bender but i had that before for another truck, a bag of dry sand to fill the tubes before i bend the tube that was £5 and some paint. about £140 max hence why i made one.
it took 2 full day, it getting the bends right was the hardest, i made my first hoop to narrow, so had to start again. if you pack the tubes with sand tight you will get a nice bend. i had to moddify the former to make the tubes a tight fit, just added some 1mm steel plate to it and spot welded that in the sides of the former.
i have been tipped on the side against things and its fine. keeps me off the trees. i would take a light roll easy. i dont have 900 to be spending on cages so i have no choice but to make them
