Great job! Please tell me, the gearbox and clutch which you used for M18A engine? Serial from M13A?

Jimny Gearbox.
All the M series motors have the same bell housing pattern, perfect match. I was going to use the heavier 1.8 flywheel but the Jimny clutch and pressure plate has a smaller diameter (mounting holes don't line up) so it didn't match and I had to just use the Jimny flywheel and clutch which is fine anyway.
I couldn't afford a new 1.8 clutch kit :(

1.8 is hard to find here though.
1.5, 1.6, 1.6 sport and 1.8 are all available here :woohoo:

In America they have Aerios (Lianas) with 2.0 and 2.3 engines, although I don't think they are M series so they probably wouldn't bolt up so easily. The 2.3 is 155hp B)

No the 2.0 and 2.3 engines are J engines. I have heard that the 1.8 was available in Germany, the parts database shows a UK model as well but I'm sure it never made it here.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.

There are sleeve kits available from Japan. Don't about the bigger crank though.

I've been ironing out a few bugs over the last few weeks, nothing major. I'm driving to Sydney again next week, 1000kms, then to Bathurst (another 3:30hrs), Staying with cousins at their family farm (200 acres), then back to Sydney and then after a few days returning to Brisbane. It's going to be an awesome shakedown run but I'll be nervous the whole time about the new mods. Highway driving is going to be so much easier and for once I won't be overtaken on the hills by all the slow drivers.

I'll share pics when I get back
