Hi Adam
The spacer is approx 32mm - if you cut them down to 20mm it will be fine, you could even take more off it just depends on how the flap behaves.

Why not first take the spacer out and push the flap back to see how it looks, you may be able to take more off.

Don't forget to copper-slip them so you can get them off again in several years times.:pinch:

They are fitted and no catching at all!
Come within about an inch... so may catch when offroad, but will have to see!

Will update My Jimny section when i have photos!

cool B) but weird
but then I thought it strange when it only caught on one side of my truck - but it drives fine (straight and true), and I've a full history - wonder if anyone can think of reason as to why mine catches on one side side and not the other

Mine looks like a fairly even gap either side, obviously lock to lock.

Maybe your problem might be something as simple as the mud flap brackets being slightly misaligned?
Getting some cleaner on the tyres transforms the look of the truck! looks rather pimp now B)

I got those sunshades too, look and fit great! No need for tinting!
Really need to get some photos taken and uploaded!

cheers Adam - yeh, I'll take off the other front flap and check it out - sure it'll look better instead of only one front flap :S

had a great time the other day with the AT2's in the flash floods, around every bend on the road it was like going through a ford, literally bow waves in front of the Jimny - the tyres were great, no aquaplaning at all, total confidence in them.

looking forward to your pics and details of the shades, can you see through with them down or are they totally blackout (maybe a daft question, but I've never seen them before)..

Getting a stainless steel exhaust back box fitted on Thursday, my local Suzuki Dealer quoted £260.80 incl VAT for genuine part with a few weeks lead time     Haven't bothered checking out KwikKrap or ATS, and have seen £50 options on Fleebay, but had already decided to go S/S. Appears to be known issue that back boxes rot through, specifically when doing short trips - like 4 mile trips to work and dog taxi services. Will upload pics on Friday

new S/S exhaust back box fitted today

the old OEM Suzuki one (ONLY 4 years old)

apparently the OEM ones are made with the lowest possible grade steel
and they charge £260.80 fitted
no better than an aftermarket one for £50/£60

the original is still on our 2000 Toyota Rav4 - apparently they use the best grade steel.

so had a custom S/S powerflow made up with 50mm 304 grade tubing
lifetime guarantee £170 all-in
chose a quiet one, but it does sound nice - bit of a bass growl :)
now thinking I might have liked a not so quiet one

guess what truck the fitter had :woohoo:

he made the snorkel in 2 hours and was a lot cheaper than a plastic one

happy bunny ;)
