pinched some of the wife's tights and stretched them over the blind frame and they worked a treat in giving more blackout (but could still see out), only problem was they were too tight and distorted the frame, will have to see if I can get some tights for "bigger girls" as they should fit better (and I do me fit the blinds better - not me)

I assume you have the correct clips for the side windows, and the rear window ones are tight enough to hold themselves?

yes I'm quite happy with the blinds thanks, and for what they cost I can get my money back no bother should I sell them at a future date.
As I've mentioned elsewhere, I'd prefer the blinds to be slightly darker/private and have experimented with stretching some tights over them which worked well, but distorted the frame as they were tight tights :S will try to find some big tights or similar material (maybe even coloured) that still lets you see out.
I do prefer having the option to remove them as opposed to full time tints, maybe one day will get the plastic Swedish ones but they cost too much :pinch:

Halford I would love to see you go into a shop & buy a big pair of ladies tights! The looks you would get!
You do realise you're gonna hang your dog with those bungies & wotnot in the back don't you!
Mark, what do you carry? Are you a drug runner? It's ok, I won't tell the filth! An offroad drug runner eh! Smart idea, they'll never catch you offroad!
