Thats a smart set up. Some great ideas on there, he could easily make those for sale. Its essentially like the landy boys do with the tubular shock towers if i work it out right from the pictures?

Whats the total lift you've achieved?

Black Jimny's don't get stuck!

The only reason for the towers is because of the relocation of the bottom mounts, I would have lost alot of travel so had to make that back up by also raising the tops. So much so the body of the damper was longer than the available space after moving the bottom mount.

Aim for this project wasn't for lift, was all about clearing under the axle to stop those stupid standard mounts from snagging and gaining as much articulation as possible without going silly and it not being a Jimny any more.

Height wise its about 4 inches lift, i havent really measured it, rock slders are about 18" from the floor(kneecap height)

Measuring off the damper there is now 4" compression and 6" extension, which at the end of the axle(wheel) with the rotation from the drop is somewhere in the region of 9" extension.

Sure they are not changed? I mean: my front arms are placed under the front axle ... but in your picture i clearly see that the arms are placed above the axle tube ...
