Run wires from engine compartment into cabin?

Hi Folks,

Can anyone tell me the easiest way to run wires from inside the engine compartment to the inside of the cabin? Hopefully there is a way that doesn't involve drilling or encouraging water into my cabin

There is an ideal place in the passenger footwell. If you pull the mat back and look in the centre, towards the top you will see a wire going through towardds the centre console. Try get something in that grommet which will allow you to pull your wires through. I taped mine to the screwdrive in the image. It pops out near the brake lines to the left of the passenger wheelarch in the engine bay.

Also there is another hole with rubber cap that is at the uper right place of the engine apartment. Its right behind the abs sensor.

From tha hole i passed the arb cables for the buttons.

I'm following that with interest. I'd like to know how to get the wires neatly back into the car. I have a feeling I may be able to drill a hole throught the roof, where the roof bars (not rails) mount, therefore covering the hole to the elements etc
