This may be a stupid question but can I fit castor correction bushes to the rear radius arms on my Jimny?

I'm fitting a 3" lift at the weekend and have a set of castor corrected front arms from ora. I had already bought the castor corrected bushes and since no one wants them I thought I might as well use them!

I cant see it being a problem but I like to run things by the experts!

I see no reason why you can't but I wouldn't bother.

The only reason why it's necessary on the front is the castor effects the steering. You'd never notice the difference on the rear so you're making work for yourself.

They might last longer than rubber bushes I suppose but unless you really need to change your rear bushes right now, I'd not bother.

I once saw an explanation somewhere of why you DO need to adjust the rear axle as well, not sure where I saw it however.

In that case I might as well fit them until I can afford the rear arms from ora!

I've had no issues and done many miles without castor correction on the front or rear but I wonder if people have advised on having it due to the oil level around the pinion bearing?

By lifting the vehicle you pull the pinion bearing up away from the oil and effectively lower the oil filler so that you put less oil in.

I think it's by a negligible amount though and have had no issues so will carry on.
