higuys and kirky nut.
Deffo a single cam last time I looked!!! and deffo a 2002 going by the vin.
I don't run an EGR valve or cat and don't have any probs.
I only raised the question out of curiosity cos my readers work on everything else ok.
Thanks for all the input, its good that there are such a lot of good people out there.
I think I will stick to my old tractors and rotovators. No electronics and still going after over 60 years.
Have had 4wd trucks for over 50 years and still luvin it.

egr removal..........always remove the daft things, more trouble than they are worth, cause MORE pollution when they start to age and rough tickover as well so in the bin and poo to the californian do gooders !!!!!!!!
catylytic doobree removal....... again i always remove the daft things, a massive con, ford etc lean burn engines were just as clean as cat stuffed engines, just a means of the lizards making more lucre. very slightly dirtier without a cat but still within mot regs. DISCLAIMER HERE. REMOVE CAT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Possibly runs a bit smoother at high revs but thats totally subjective.
Thats it, rant over, BIG V8s for ever. keep on slidin. Bryan D
