I am reasonably sure I am right as my 2004 parts manual shows that retainer ring I sent you 43485-77E51 and the ABS outer ring 56451-77E00 joined together.

You did well to get the ring off. Everyone I know has had to chisel the ABS ring off, destroying it in the process.

It is the same principle as removing a ring gear on a flywheel
just get the teeth cherry red and it pops straight off

All done now and its all quiet for the time being
i dont think suzuki could make it more difficult
to change a rear bearing just hope the other side
stays quiet for a while now
