Recaro Seats was created by funkyjimny
Anyone fitted Recaro seats (From Rs Turbo/ Mk5 Escort RS 2000 ) in theyre Jimny? always been my favourite seat for some support and adjustment while still allowing access to the rear seats for the kids. Just wondering if anyone knows how far out the mounts are from the original Jimny subframes or if theyre an easy fit?
Thanks
Gary

I have after market recaros in mine. They are fitted to jimny subframes and slide ok on the runners.
I suspect they were slightly too wide as the stuffing has been removed from the wing on one side

Thanks guys for your replies, not a fan of ORA kit and would rather have full movement of the seats and access to the back seats to let the kids in and out. I'll modify the standard jimny frames i think.

Ended up getting a brand new Sparco Rev bucket seat for £35 from ebay - result ! cut the std jimny seat to bits to use the base as a subframe for the bucket, sits a little high but its very very comfy, dont need a passenger seat as theres only ever me in it.
