Washer fluid lost from behind front bumper

Hi all

I'm totally new to forums, so bear with me.
4 weeks ago I parked the Jimny under cover in a carpark, early morning.  When I got back to it 12 hours later, fluid had been dumped  from behind the front bumper, and was dripping from the bottom of the radiator. 
At first I thought it was coolant, which originally made me panic.  Coolant level was fine, and remains so.  But it was the washer fluid. The reservoir was totally empty.  I topped it back up (not to the cap), had a small drip the following day but nothing since. 
It has been totally fine.  Has anyone else experienced this? 
It was on one of our heatwave days, but the Jimny was in the shade all day.  I can only assume it is an intermittent problem which has only occurred once so far.

What model & trim level of Jimny are we discussing? Some Gen4s will have headlight washers that use fluid from that reservoir.

Strangely, this happened to me last night for the first time. I had used my Jimny just before midday and parked her up in the garage. At 8pm I went to turn on my car fridge ready for an early start this morning and saw a puddle, exactly as you described. My washer fluid wasn't empty, I don't think much had come out. 
It probably got to about 35⁰ in the garage, so quite hot, an hour later I got her out of the garage to load up the fridge and tried the headlight washers. Both worked fine. The garage floor was dry this morning.

I can only guess that due to the heat the pressure built up enough for it to burp some fluid out from one of the hose connectors. There is a quick disconnect behind the bumper for removal and also a 'Y' / 'T' connection to feed each washer jet.

Only question is, if the pressure was high enough to burp out from one of the connectors, why didn't it just come out of the jets?
