Good morning.

Does anyone know if 2012 seats will fit straight into a 2008 Jimny and will 2008 headrests fit 2012 seats?

As far as I know, the seats didn't change at all during models 2005 - 2012.

Straight fit, I had a set in my 2008 Jimny too.

The only seat related bits that won't fit are JDM head rests, the runners are too narrow. I found this out when I imported a set for my old seats, which lead me to import an entire set of heated ones.

as above as far as i know they all fit.

The only thing i know of is that the plug for heating changed between 04 and 05 from two wire to three wire. but still you can just hook up the two and they will warm your behind.
My 05 have the 04 seats.
(All norwegian cars have heated mirrors and seats)

Edit: Rear seats do not fit allways. The ones with tiltable bottoms have other brackets than the ones with a fixed bottom. But very doable to make the brackets fit.

Norway 2005 Jimny M16A VVT, 235 Cooper Disco, 2" Trailmaster, ARB rear lck.
