I've seen this elsewhere, I think it is a market specific thing?

Nope, I think this is a tuner thing. The Jimny does not have a 5000rpm cutoff. It revs right the way through to the red line at around 6000rpm, even on my auto.

Was the first run before the freeflow was fitted?

Thanks. Looking at the profile of the graph, this doesn't really look worthwhile.Attached tbe screengrab. Sorry about qaulity.
powet all better all over the range and you will see the diff it made after 5000 rev limit removal.
Torque show a dip. Unfortunately the traction control was not switched off on second run..it is a well documented issue to always run it in "service mode/traction off" mode. See blue circle indicated on graph.
Send me a pm if graph show bad I will see if i can get better version to you

There was an Australian fitting a supercharger to one and he made mention of the 5k limit being removed, maybe something is getting lost in translation? Certainly both mine rev freely at 6k.

Something a bit fishy going on here. Yes there's a small increase in power of a couple of kw across the board, but the difference in peak power is almost entirely down to the higher rpm. The redline on a Gen4 tacho is at 6,250 and I suspect they go beyond 6,500 before hitting the actual rev limiter.
It's also odd that they didn't take it to the rev limiter on the second run. It was still making linear power when they stopped the pull at 6,200.

Great results on the performance increase! I'm curious about the 5000 RPM cutout you mentioned. Was the 'Before' dyno run done on a completely stock car, or did it already have the free-flow exhaust fitted? So couple weeks ago did rip out the old exhaust (thus deleting the cats), and add new freeflow branch and full stainless steel exhaust ( custom build by degraaff exhausts.
ecu with stage 2 custom tune added that include
* remove cat sensor completely
* engine parameters and sensor adjustements.
and many more tune settings.
* removed the 5000RPM cutout, nou set to around 6500rpm.
null's brawl
Tested on Dyno.
Before std.
71kw at the wheels @5009 rpm
139 NM AT 3759 RPM
After
88kw at the wheels @6152 rpm (+23% increase)
147 NM at 3691 rpm
