Very soft clutch pedal? was created by LM42
Hello all!

We recently fitted a exedy clutch into a 2013 jimny,  (68k) clutch cable was smooth and looked at felt good

Fitted all parts without any issues,  including new spring for the arm
We adjusted the cable to spec,  yet biting point is at the top of pedal, and the pedal feel so light and feels there is no spring ( clutch ) it does work but not in the way expected,

Having The biting point so high makes it hard to drive

We tried different cable tensions, made no difference

any ideas why it feel so soft and so high?

Is it possible the arm or thrust bearing was fitted the wrong way around ( I have done both over the years)
