radiator hoses was created by PeterH
I took the radiator out to replace the drive belts (2013 Jimny) I'm having real trouble getting the hoses to seal again. Any tips?

I had this on my last jimny and for the cost of the hoses I got new ones and clips from my dealer.

You must get the right clips: 09401-30405.
09401-35403 is a but larger and seems to go on ok but WILL leak. Sims say "used on all rubber coolant hoses on Suzuki's" (sic) but they are wrong. It took three months for me to realise what the problem was, and two so-called professional mechanics couldn't fix the leak either. It was entirely down to the wrong size clips and hasn't leaked a drop since I got the right ones.

In the end I ditched the Suzuki spring clips and used worm drive 'Jubilee'. Problem solved.

You will probably still get seepage. I used jubilee clips at first but they don't expand and contract with the rubber so there is nearly always some leaking.
Top up the expansion bottle exactly to the MAX line when stone cold and watch it like a hawk for a month.
