Intermittent display loss

    Hi all. The mileage and the sppedo occasionally go blank but then return intermittently. Any idea what it could be ? Sz3 Jimny from 2014. 

The milage is stored in the dash cluster and not in the ECU so it is more or less a stand alone unit. I would check the ground points in and around the dash, check for good battery voltage, check plugs and fuses.
Any aftermarket stereo or other jobs done in the dash are most often the cause for problems here.
Also would check the main fuses next to the battery if they look OK. However it is not a typical Suzuki problem but other cars often have trouble with damp and bad contacts in the main fusebox.
