Noted. It wasn't something I'd considered

Not my money, so take this for what it is worth.
The car needs a complete brake system rebuild. It needs a new exhaust, or section thereof. It needs some nontrivial welding, and one always finds a bit more to do when one starts poking at rusty metal. All of those things are easily understood, and (with the caveats others have stated above) well within the competence of a good local garage. I suspect you are already well into four figures with this list, though, even at mates' rates.
And it has an emissions failure. This one actually concerns me more than the others. Some will say, "it might just be a sensor," and they are right -- but it can also lead down the rabbit hole. How many miles are on this Jimny?
I'm not recommending one way or the other, but it may be good to start with the emission issue first. Ensure that it is easily solved, and not symptomatic of something deeper, before investing in the other repairs. I wouldn't want to have completed all the other work only to find my garage throwing parts at it trying to pass the emissions test. And this is the kind of issue where marque-specific knowledge can really make a big difference in outcomes (and cost).
Just a thought, I claim no special insight or expertise, just a shade-tree tinkerer. Good luck.

The garage called me this morning and said that the issues with the rear brake is due to the rear diff deals failing and oil leaning all over the brake.
The front sensor and pump for the ABS are both throwing up faults.
