Wobbly Gear Stick was created by RyanWalkley
I just replaced the Clutch on my 2004 Jimny. However, when I went to refit the gearstick into the remote housing it was wobbly as hell. After some googling I think I may have lost a plastic bush. I have a service manual and it isn't clear what I'm missing (Please see attached picture).
I've found two types of bushes online but I'm not sure which one I need:
shorturl.at/jWZYq
shorturl.at/zab5m
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks.

There should be two plastic bushes, one on the end of the lever (pictured) and another in the receiving hole (same colour)

Thanks for your reply mate, and for taking the time to check your own gearstick. Absolute legend.
Annoyingly, that looks different from the part I just ordered from eBay (shorturl.at/jWZYq). I'll have to do another search for that exact bush.
Thanks again.

I believe this is the badger:
simssuzukiparts.co.uk/products/new-suzuk...GIn-b6EaAlmoEALw_wcB
Looks like it fits a grand Vitara too.

I think there is a difference between these shifter parts pre and post 2004/2005.
Also if your clutch been out the drive shaft must have been disconnected and if it has been put together without aligning the Ujoints it Will shake.
