Just want to see if anyone else has run into the same issue with sourcing a set of rear ABS sensors for a gen 3 jimny.
All I can see on fleabay and autodoc are the front ABS sensors. Looking specifically for brand new ones. Are they interchangeable? I haven't looked under the car yet as the weather is awful just now.

Hi, had the same issue. Bought a used one from Mr Priestly that sorted it.

Maybe the next time someone has one in hand, he could post the OEM (Denso? Bosch?) part number here. It is possible that other marques use the same sensor, and knowing the manufacturer's part number -- if it can be found on the part -- might be helpful to those looking in the future.

Thanks for the suggestions. The weather was better today. Had a look underneath and found that the sensors are seperate for the rear wheels. Did a bit of fault finding and I definitely have a bad rear right sensor.
Had a look on megazip, but it's only from Japan and expensive. At least for that part.
Couldn't see any other Suzuki motors that used the same sensor and plug combo. Swift iii 05-12 looked like it might fit, bit not sure it would have the length. Could always solder/crimp the old plug on if it won't de-pin. But not sure that's worth a £30 gamble.
Does anyone have the contact for Mr Priestly? Think I'll give him a shout and see what he has.

Message him on here - j999pre . Had a few used parts from him, never an issue. Cheers

Mike, I'm not sure a solder repair is an option with ABS wire. It's been a while since I had one apart, but I seem to recall that the wire and shielding were of a special type due to the tiny currents in the sensor. I may be misremembering but without some careful investigation I would not be confident on a solder repair on this type of sensor.
Wasn't there someone breaking a similar Jimny on here earlier in the summer? Do any of the forum regulars remember that post?

Thanks,
I've messaged him, but doesn't look like he's logged on since last year according to his profile. Here's hoping.

Ah, I think you're right. Looks like I'm stuck with the OEM option, unless I can find a breaker.
Apparently, looking into it, the circuits are sensitive to impedances introduced by soldering. So I'm guessing due to the wires being quite thin, there may be a small error for it being a different length as well.
