Does the M13A jimny have an EGR system?

Does the 2000 M13A non-VVT Jimny, with 2 cats, have an EGR system?

No.   Edit: apperently I was wrong
But there is a pcv system :

It too can cludder up and behave badly.

 

I replaced the little valve on the rocker cover already, are there any other components to the system that could get clogged? Also if there's no egr, what's the little pipe that connects to the last exhaust runner, the one on the cabin side of the engine?

That is the positive cranckcase ventilation, pcv.

Edit: that is the EGR apperently.

#1 is the EGR valve on a M13a engine in a Jimny - IF FITTED - not all markets have them, you need to "eye-ball" your car to see if it's fitted, and that little pipe that you describe on the #4 cylinder exhaust runner suggests that your car does have it.

Look at the intake manifold see if you find the #8 pipe and follow it back behind the head.

Assumption is the Mother of all messups.
And I assumed since there is no exhaust connected there, that it was not an EGR.

The little pipe I'm talking about is the one you can see in the picture to the right of the rightmost runner , right now I'm not home so I can't check the evap system

That little pipe IS part of the EGR feed and I'll bet that if you check the other side as suggested, you WILL find the EGR valve.

Ok thanks for the clarification, I was thinking of either cleaning the valve or doing an EGR delete, I still have to choose what to do though

Well I don't quite know, I'm trying to inform myself a little more to see if it's useful or not

First - depending on where you are tampering with the emission systems can be illegal.

That aside, most newer vehicles monitor EGR flow and will generate check engine codes if the flow is not what is expected, an 'EGR Delete" would need to remove these checks from the ECU software.

Non-functional EGR systems reduce carbon buildup in the intake, but increase combustion chamber temperatures and with it, the production of pollutants, primarily oxides of nitrogen. Engine damage (burned exhaust valves) is a possible outcome.
