So I’ve been driving my Jimny for a few months now and recently I’ve been having problems driving uphill or from a stop where it the car would shake but still move. If I let off the gas then get back on it then the problem would go away. I flushed the transmission fluid but the problem still persisted. Parked it at my house last night and now I can’t get it into reverse. Is my transmission dead or is it something else that I’m overlooking?
The auto is usually very reliable if you keep the fluid level correct. That said there are some reports of issues arising from incorrect fluid change. It seems that the best thing is to circulate fluid from a clean supply via the cooler or better yet get it done by a professional facility. It is also reported that once they start acting up they're not cheap or easy to repair. It might be a case of getting it to a professional.
