Red 1999 Jimny
2” Pro-comp Lift
Mud Tyres
Black Wheels
Roof Rack
Front and Rear LEDs
Wind Deflectors
And More…
Hi,
I’m new to Jimnys but am attempting to lift my one
I have now purchased, +2” springs and shocks and a +1” body lift. Is there anything else that I will need before I begin to lift it (brake hoses, handbrake cables, steering column etc)?
Also I have seen some posts about caster arms, but I’m not sure what these are or if I’ll need them for this type of lift?
Thanks in advance for all the help

Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.
ADOS Attention Deficit Ooooh Shiny!
You will need extended brake lines with the addition of the body lift. Castor correction is not always necessary depending on how the car drives after the work. Basically it affects the self centering of the steering.

with the 1" body lift no steering modifications are needed
just make sure you can select 4wd low without any interference (stick shift transfer)
