Hadn't noticed the +, interesting. My fuel consumption has improved vastly as a result of a few Italian tune ups, I suspect the egr system was possibly sticky and is now free. It's gone up from high 20s to high 30s and low 40s on a gentle motorway run. That said it still uses more fuel when in 4lo than ever Dreadnaught did so I still think there is a different map used.

Hmm, looks like my consumption is rather high. I'll give it a few tank fills then fit a new lambda and see if it settles down. I have Shell V-power in it now. V-power makes a big difference to how well the trials car runs so it will be interesting to see if it makes any difference to the Jimny. Unlike BP's premium offering, V-power really does seem to be better than regular. Unfortunately there's only one Shell garage around here.
I have to admit I didn't check the EGR valve when I had the head off. The EGR link pipe and the port in the head looked clear.
