Rear axle radius arm brackets was created by Edcc1974
Hi Folks, I'm new to the site as got my first jimny a couple of months back. Loving the car and it's simplicity, it's been ages since I've had anything I'd trust myself to work on but especially having time on my hands at the moment I'm having lots of fun with it.
Just fitted a winch to help me fetch trees up hill and was getting a bit excitable on bumpy tracks when the other day I managed to break the radius arm bracket on the rear axle....
I've seen a few posts on this but wanted to ask for some general advice. As I've currently got time on my hands I was thinking if I should just look to replace the rear axle. Seen a few on ebay etc. I've also seen mention of replacement brackets on the forum (mostly expired links) but don't have any welding gear or experience.
Keen to keep costs down right now so any advice on the most economic, practical approach would be really appreciated!

Hi and welcome
Easiest option would be axle swap
or get a bare axle casing and fit your internals
Drop this guy a PM
www.bigjimny.com/index.php/forum/profile/1482-j999pre
He might have a spare one
