I may need to take out my rad, how easy is it to remove? Is it straight forward or is there a lot of other stuff that needs to come out first? Car is a 2007 manual with aircon.
cheers,
Martin.

So just drain down the rad, undo the obvious fixings/hoses & it should lift/jiggle out leaving the fan shroud & aircon rad in the car?

But as Yakuza says, it's dead easy on a non-air-con model?

Think i either unscrewed the fan and took it out with the radiator and shroud, or left shroud in there together with the fan. I cannot remember having any
problems.
I did not have to cut anything. But i have seen others do it.
Dunno why.

When my radiator was out, i made sure i had the belts ready and changed them when access was easy.maverick wrote: simple, we even took off my radiator when off-road to make replacing the Fan Belt easy!!

Lift rad out, hand spin the fan as you lift to allow the bottom outlet space you'll see.
