Problem with 4 wheel drive was created by Caz
Here goes and I hope I explain myself well enough lol
My transfer box is trying to engage itself whilst I am driving - I have now disconnected the 4 wheel drive so I just have 2 wheel drive!
Any ideas please as to why this is happening? The noise it makes is awful when it does it and sounds like the bottom of the car is falling out.
Many Thanks

The transfer case will only go into 4wd if the stick is moved into the 4wd position. I don't really understand what you believe is happening but from the noise you describe the first steps are to check the transfer mounting brackets and the gearbox mount. Both are common faults. If there is no fault there it could be the chain has stretched so I'd change the transfer case. You should find a 2nd hand transfer case for around £50 and fitting takes just an hour or 2.
