Hi where do you guys get your parts for your Jimny I know bearing supplies and suzuki but what about things like axles and diffs because I am after a front diff at the minute.
Are the Diffs differnt across the year / range or would 1 front diff fit in any jimny.
Thanks,
Baz

For some small parts I get them from my favourite supplier....
www.bigjimny.com
:)
KAP is one of the main suppliers for the larger second hand parts although he can be expensive as he knows the value of some parts too well.
Camsuzuki on ebay seem to specialise in Jimny bits - I have never bought anything from them to be able to comment but I have heard that delivery can be slow, although they do deliver in the end.
Local scrap dealers can be cheaper when they don't quite realise the value of the parts.
If you use "breakernet" or one of these similar online search facilities as there is at least one scrapyard in the Birmingham area that always replies with a cheap price but doesn't actually have the parts and its a devil of a job to get your money refunded. If you use this method then "google" the scrapyard's name that replies to see if there is a list of complaints against it.

Thanks,
On another note does the rear wheel bearing for sale in the bigjimny shop require any spacers and any one know the part number for the retainer that goes on the back of the bearing.

The bearing has the spacer built in, its not clear in the pictures.
The bearing retainer is part number: 43485-35009 - These appear to be a Suzuki Dealer only part as I have not found them anywhere else. I can get them through my dealers pretty easily .

I have and a sticker is in design at the moment. If its just "word" ones then I can these done straight away
The one that is in design is similar to the one below but changed to have just an outline Jimny in the middle and some different wording around the edge. The idea behind the one below was that it would be for those who had their pictures on the website.

I have bought from CAM Suzuki and can say that the parts are good in my limited experience and cheap but they did take a time to come.
