jimny 2006 central locking question was created by asypeer
Hi all,
My jimny was equipped with some domestic "enhancements" before it delivered to its previous owner in 2006 (due to insurance requirements):
1. Alarm - controlled from the original key without additional remotes. Locks/unlocks the doors, closes the windows etc
2. Additional immobilizer (with a keypad)
- has a controller in the fuel line (I think)
Last Friday the alarm started working (the siren..) and I've decided to remove all these local installations. I've followed the wires and bridged all the wires.
It got dark so I was not able to finish, at the moment the car won't start. Hope to figure out way - my guess is that I did not find one of the fuel pump wiring "leeches"
Assuming I'll be able to remove all the local installations and return my loom to stock situation. How can I use the OEM keyless entry? As it was done via the aftermarket alarm module. Where is the OEM receiver located or looks like?
Thanks!!
Some pictures to demonstrate the horror:

OK!
I managed to find the "brain" of that useless piece of !@#, it was located next to the ECU. I had to re-solder 2 wires and now the Jimny starts without any issues or codes (the thieves here would laugh to see a 10 years old alarm, so why bother having one..?)
Now even the OEM central locking works and locks/unlocks the door from the original FOB - awesome.
BUT.
When I bought my Jimny, I got only 1 FOB, I later bought another key with a transponder on Aliexpres and a locksmith has cut the key and coded the transponder.
I recently bought the "Remote" part of the key (the 1st one I got with the key was in a wrong frequency and the locksmith told me to send it back to the seller, so I did)
Now I'm pretty sure I have the right remote (like in this like:
www.aliexpress.com/item/Brand-New-Replac....13010608.0.0.pD11Ys
There are 2 models: 4Y-TS002 and 4Y-TS004 - both 433 Mhz. I googled and googled and could not figure out which one fits my Jimny - does anyone know?
any ideas? I also found several Suzuki FOB coding procedure (for Swift / Wagon-R) - but could not find specific instructions for the Jimny. can anyone refer me to to this procedure?
its a 2006 VVT M13 engine.
thanks!!

In the UK the Jimny only comes with 1 fob and a normal key which unlocks all the doors from the drivers lock.
