Yes, it's close (you can see the steering bar bracket has to actually sit over the rod end to get full lock), but yes, tested and happy with it...
The damper is a fair bit longer than the original Terrafirma Disco'1 damper I had fitted which surprised me...

The Armstrong STC 786 appears to be a pin mount each end?
So you'd need one of these -

And two flat bars clamped round the chassis rail on the other end...
Or there's various retailers out there too...

Yes mate, pin mount each end. Thanks for that S200KYS, you saved me the time as I've been looking all over for one! Now I've to find the two flat bars you mentioned. Any ideas on them?
