Coolio. Only a few pumps it'll be then.
I've never greased this during my ownership and I've no idea when it was last done, should I be doing anything else to make sure the grease is in the right bit?

If you really want, you could take the propshaft off, pull the sliding joint apart, and clean all the rust out of the rubber boot, smear everything with grease & reassemble. (Like I just have, as I had the gearbox out.)

Or just give it a squirt of grease & don't worry about it, it isn't like it is in constant use.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)
