Well.

I have an standard Exide AGM battery that works flawlessly now on its 3rd year. But have just recently found out that Exide batteries are made in India and a buddy who runs an auto repair shop tells me that he never uses Exide batteries due to general poor quality of them.

But I don't know. Would probably choose another brand next time. Probably Varta.
I have 2 batteries in my Jimny. A Varta and an Exide. Both AGM batteries. 80 Ah, 800 CCA. They are 100% identical except for the color. So I'm guessing they are made the same place :)

What about this one
www.tayna.co.uk/ODYSSEY-PC1230-Battery-1...king-Amps-P8654.html Pretty sure it's superior to the Exide you found :)

CCA are not right. It's 760A.
The 1230 are MCA :)

They certainly are. If you want Odyssey's in that price range get the 1750's :)

But the PC1230 I linked to is also a better battery in terms of CCA's and Ah's than the Exide :)
