Help me to improve jimny performance
Hi
I live in Middle East and I have jimny 2013 AT LHD M13A 37000km I don’t know its vvt or not
I use jimny for off-road in dessert
The issue is very slow and the power quick drop
I can’t climbing desert hill or go off-road without stuck because the power drop
So I want you to help me to increase the power
Give me idea to improve the performance with low cost .
In our market m16a vvt or m 15a vvt or j 20a are available we dont have m18a
I want the car to be daily use and have more than 125 hp
Thanks

I think that i will start to swap the engine
but how i know if my engine is vvt or not
if not and i swap it with m16a vvt what will happen ?
because in our market only we have vvt swift
There is difference in m16a vvt engine if its 2006 or 2008 or 2010 or 2012

There's a turbo kit available.. also a supercharger kit I believe. Or perhaps a swift 1.6 sport engine with around 130 bhp.

the only turbo kits i've seen are for the 1.3vvt swift. since it's the same engine, i would guess it works just fine with a bit of modding

as for the original poster....you either get a different 4x4, do some serious engine mods (will be expensive to do properlly on a NA engine, and even a turbocharger or compressor kit will run you into the thousands), or a different engine...or you compromise the drivability and just install a shorter ratio box and wider wheels.
