Welcome to the grabber club ;) I love mine, they hold the road well, look great and when I manage to get further off the road they should help a bit too. Have you felt the ride quality improve with them?

jimny dave wrote: Cheers NC.. They defiantly feel more sure footed on the road yes, but my steering went light still whilst going around a tight roundabout last night. Not as bad as previous tyres though. I felt as if I was a bit taller when I first drove home on them, and the ride is possibly not as hard over bumps, undulations etc

Jimny dave,

According to your last photo with the muddy tyre, the tyre's edge appears to be quite close to the lowest point of your front bumper.

Did you test if the tyres touch the front bumper at any point during steering them to left and to right ("full lock to lock test")?
If they don't touch, how close do they come at the most critical point?

My current stock tyres (205/70/R15) reach the closest to the front bumper on one full steering wheel turn, not on full lock.
When I make one full steering wheel turn to the left from straight position, the right wheel comes very close to the front bumper. The same happens with the left wheel when I turn the steering wheel one full turn to the right.

Hello. I have the same size on too. Yeah they are close to the bumper (2008 facelift bumper, standard suspension/no body lift and no mudguards) but They haven't fouled so far. Lock to lock they don't touch but I can't confirm how they act under full articulation as I've not been able to test that. :) hope that helps.
