OK ive fitted a 3" lift from Kap,235/75x15 kumho M/T,15X7 Black mod wheels, looking good, now i need to sort out the castor correction,C'os my better half refuses to drive it,i thought about changing the bushes but ive heard they dont make much difference with a 3" lift,so im looking at replacment arms,OR ive just seen Martins pics of welding up the axle, & its got me thinking could i extend the front of that bracket, redrill the hole lower down & castor correction done. what do you think,

dont be drastic by changing the lenght of the arms,
the castor correction bushes will do the job, a few of my mate have lifts, anything from 2" to 4.5", those with 3" or more have fitted the bushes and they all work fine.

Thanks for your reply Garry, but its not the lenght of the arms i was thinking about changing, its the bracket they bolt to,take a look at martins pic,on home page,(24/10/10 - Welding up the Axle) He has welded a washer on that bracket,if that hole was say half inch lower, that would sort castor problems out.

The general feeling is that castor correction bushes are good for 2" lift only although they will improve a 3" lift.
There is a standard "re-drilling" the holes modification to achieve the same effect and there are some measurements somewhere on the Internet. I have a feeling Gary - FunkJimny - did this on one of his Jimnys.

I think I would just buy ORA arms - more expensive but you get stronger arms with a lifetime warranty and far less hassle.
