Due to the changes ive made to my jimny, the DVLA require some pictures, the chassi number and the engine number.

where can i find the engine number?

its a w reg (2000) 1.3 16v i think it has the G13BB engine.

im sure if memory is right its on the plate on bulk head were car details are if not most likely to be on the side of the block

had a look, found the chassi number on the vin plate on the bulk head, but couldnt see anything that looked like a engine number, also had a look all roung the head and coudnt see anything.

ive still had no luck in finding the engine number,

Martin, i looked at your picture and went and looked at my engine, where your picture says its the engine number, its not on mine,

i do have numbers there, but after a google search of them, there the engine displacment, the number stamped on my block are 1298cm3,

The DVLA are thinking im up to something as i havnt sent the paper work back yet, they wont give me the V5 back untill there happy with the information i give them.

OK i could'nt resist,just ran out & had a look, where it says 1298cm3,under that is your number, its quite hard to see, go look now with a torch,

dam, i can see the number but cant make out the first couplle of digits, what a stupid place for suzuki to stamp the engine number! dam them!!

you could try taking a picture of the 1st couple of digits,post on here see what people think,dont 4get to use macro mode on ya camera,
