I wasn't clear with my description was I !
You are quite right the fixing is for the front bracket.
The drawing is looks pretty good to me I kind of guessed the fitting would be like that and read a reference to a cone washer but a quick look on the internet didn't turn up anything like the size I assumed I would need .. Approx 40mm !!!!
Any pointers to possible supplier would be great, if not I will try and get one made up.

Absolutely no idea where to start looking, Mike....the ones I restored last year just needed the (sheared ) bolts cutting off and replacing with fresh ones....when I get a moment this week I'll try and do a bit of research for you....
