how hard is it to change the body of the jimny or is it just to big of a job?

i have the soft top g13bb engine and have the option of buying a hardtop body.

any help is apreciated

You can swap bodys pretty easy, ive had the hardtop body of my jimny.

theres lots you have to disconnect before your ready to lift the body off though, and beware, is a heavy little bugger!!

It might even be easier to buy a hard top car and swap the suspension over than lift the whole body off the car!

The hard tops do come up on ebay every now and then - might be worth a patient wait, then you'll have the best of both world and be able to swap to whatever takes your fancy.

I like the security of my hard top shell but miss the coolness in the summer of our old SJ410 convertible. I like being dry though!

I had a hardtop on my Samurai and I loved the extra warmth and dryness !
