help reading DTC fault codes was created by TomDK
So, the yellow engine warning light is on.

Read something about you can read the fault codes using a paperclip from a open unused connector behind the glovebox. But can only find info about this using a 6-pin connector. On my Jimny there is only a 8-pin connector available.

It's a 2002 spanish Soft-top, G13BB engine, RHD.

Can anyone help me out on this? :)

Mine is the same (2001 G13BB Spanish soft top) and I couldn't get any joy using the paperclip method, but from 2001 onward you'll find it should be OBDII compliant (mine is) - a cheap bluetooth OBD reader from ebay and an app like Torque on your mobile and you're away.

If you are with the RAC call them out and they will diagnose the problem and give you the code. I did it a couple of months ago and it was the lambda sensor. I had to tell them that the car was cutting out otherwise they said I could drive it to the dealer.
