My jimny is making a clunk noise when setting off/accelerating and when taking foot off accelerator, i think its coming from the rear. Any ideas what it could be? Its got new wheel bearings on both sides so dont think thats the problem.

Hi, many suzukis have a excessive backlash between teeth of planetary and satellites of diff.
In my Jimny the solution showed up when changing the rear differential by new one (ARB locker)
The "clanck" was solved definitively
Also check cardanic joints, homocinetic joint, and ajust between ring and gear of differential.
Success
Gustavo
