Or it could be one of your vac lines to the hubs has come off/got a hole in it. Do you have a hand vac pump to test?

As said could be an air line on the hub also check under right wing that is where the receiver lives the lines run down the drivers side radius arm and can take a hit

thats the sort of thing im looking for but in english & simple terms :cheer:

thanks gus

i don't think its as simple as the vucume pipes as its the system the tells them to lock where i think the problem is i thought it was going to be the switch in trans box as i pressume thats where it all starts from when selecting 4wd the switch tells something that its been selected & tells the hubs to lock

The easiest place to start is with the switch on the transfer box, check there are wires connecting to it, then try joining the wires together at the plug, if this puts the light on the switch is faulty, but it is more likely to be the wires.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

As shown in the diagrams above, there is a fuse and a controller. If you have checked the switch then you should look at whether the controller has power to it and is working

if anyone wants to get it in English simply enter the text here translate.google.co.uk/ you don't by any chance have similar info for the push-button 4wd do you or is it basically the same
