hi fokes new to forum can anyone tell me why my jimny 1.3 99 reg has a tappet sound coming from engine when cold and goes after 5 or 6 mile worst at about 3000 rpm cheers Jim

Mines the same. Presumably the explanation lies in the oil temp on startup. But it doesn't bother me that much, just don't thrash it from cold.
