Air Bag Light not coming on was created by SussexRob
Hi all,
This is my first post here after lurking in the dark reading many a helpful post, so firstly, hi!
I have a W reg Jimny, and love it. However it got an advisory on it's last MOT, because the air bag light does not light when you turn the ignition.
I have a copy of the service manual, and plan to spend tomorrow running through the checks suggested, and will need to get to the bulb to check it.
The service manual isn't the clearest when it comes to taking apart the instrument panel, and also mentions that the steering column assy needs to be removed.
I have trawled the net for a while now, and can't find much about removing the instrument panel so I am hoping I can get some advice from you kind peeps. Do I really need to remove the steering column assy or is there a better way to get to the bulb?
Cheers!
Rob

Cheers for that! I had found those screws, and thought there had to be more to undo somewhere.
Well that makes things a bit easier in the morning, I just hope it is simply the bulb that needs changing.

I plan to simply check the bulb, if that's not it, it'll be going into a garage, as its MOT is due this month anyway.
