Are you running the hollow wheel spacers I found vibrations disappeared when I fitted the solid spacers...

I've got differant rims now, modulars, so no spacers, its not really a death wobble but it was'nt there at all before.... will treat it to a streering damper and see what happens........... watch this space :)

It is, it's that ******* bit of road!! There's obviously a strange texture in the tarmac that starts it off (a bit like soldiers marching across a bridge). :angry:

I do love driving the CO's Jimny, but it does seem a bit mechanically flaky. I'm sure the boy's Uno was far more robust (but definitely no similar big smile factor). WTF!

A crap bit of road could set it off I guess...

When I was on two wheels I got a tank slapper due to a crap bit of tarmac, it just sent the front wheel bouncing!

Managed to stay on the thing and save it (damaging my right shoulder while doing so!) but really shat me up!

I can imagine. Thank God for waterproof leathers. Hope your shoulder sorts itself soon. I actually gave up bikes cos I found I didn't bounce as well as I used to. :(

I thought a tank slapper was a large woman of ill repute! Never too old to learn I suppose. :lol:
