Hi I'm just fitting my lift kit but the rubber bushes in the shocks are to wide for the steel inserts, do I cut the rubber bushes or have I got the wrong kit

i have the ES 1000 at the front, and they are really soft B)

My front ones are fairly stiff but the rears are like coffin nails!
