When the brake is applied they stretch and twist slightly as the piston comes out.
Without the pedal pressure the seals relax and pull the pistons back a tiny fraction, allowing the pads to rattle off the disc as it wobbles slightly.

Everyone learns somewhere. My old mans been a mechanic for 30 odd years so I'd have him make sure I'd done it safely before I took it out on the road.

It is easy to do, but my Dad (who is a retired mechanic) who will check my work first before I drive it any where! He has also been helping me with the work up till now anyway.
