Hello, i have read your blog and whilst i am new to the jimny i have run range rovers and disco's for some time (but now i have seen the light). I changed the vacuum hose on the centre diff of my rangy and experienced a simular problem and it was due to using silcone hose, it was too flexible and would collapse under vacuum, might be worth checking your hose?
