rock lobster

hi guys.
1st post so il give you some background.
owned my jimny for 2 years now, mainly use it for lamping and some laning.
currently the only mod is some insa muds.
the jimny is coming off the road in april while i mod it. il have untill the following january to do so.
one part of my plan is oversized tyres.
so i need to sort the gearing out.
between me and my mates were fairly mechanical minded. (mates just built a leon cupra R with a down graded map 500BHP running in period after that it gets mapped to 700BHP and 150bhp nos)
ive read martins guide but im not 100% sure.
dose a jimny come with a 413 box? or do i need to source a 410 and 413 boxes?
what will the boxes cost?
can i buy one ready built? rough price.

The Jimny comes with a Jimny box which is different in it's design to SJ413 or SJ410 boxes.

When I had mine made I had to provide a 410 and a 413 box to Rockwatt for him to build me a Rocklobster from the two but that was some time agoand things may have changed.

If your box is made up using trailgear gear sets, you just need to provide one or t'other of 410 / 413 boxes I think as new gears are used where necessary.

This is my understanding and if I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me - Rockwatt, RB - either of you about???

Thats how I understand as well. The 410 is the harder transfer box to source. You will also need a SJ prop and other bits to complete the conversion.

Bigoffroader also does rocklobster box's.

Rockwatt normally has some box's in stock as they are getting hard for peeps to find for themselves .
Options are vast
410 box aka mini lobster
Have a rock lobster built 410&413 box needed
Have custom gears put in a 413 box ( loads of options )
There are also a set of gears that fit in a stock jimny t-box but have read mixed reciews on them ??
