stereo woes !! no sound was created by ohgoon2006
hi guys ( and girls )
just joined the site today after purchasing my 2001 jimny and im hoping for some help if it all possible ? ,
i appear to be getting no sound through any of my speakers ? at first i thought it was the stereo so i put a brand new one in and still nothing ?
i have looked at the wiring at the back of the stereo when installing and no chopped cables or anything ?
please if anyone can help i would be really grateful as its making my drives to work very long with no music at all .
many thanks in advance

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Take the side panels off at the front and look if there are any speakers, and if there are, test them to see if they are working (one of mine wasn't)
You have to snap the clips off the door step trims and remove them first, then they won't stay properly in place, unless you put a blob of bu-tak under each one that is
There are no speakers in the back, there is a guide on fitting some on here.
