New Jimny bought in September.Within a month a tear appeared in rear door seal, month later another appeared.Rear compartment only used for shopping and elderly dog who has to be lifted in.Suzuki say something sharp must have been dragged over it -not true!Has anybody else had this happen, sure inferior material been used but Suzuki say no other reports of this.

I've not heard of door seals tearing and I've had my Jimny since 2001 and it has over 400,000 k's on the clock. Maybe the elderly dog has been clinging on for dear life and torn the seals but hard to imagine. My Rottweiler is happiest when he is in the car, big boof head hanging out. He bounds in and out of the car and seals are in perfect nick. Dogbelts are compulsory here in Vic but he still has quite a bit of movement.
